In tournaments using pool play/round robin format, ties after 7 innings shall stand.
At the completion of round robin/pool play portion of such tournaments The Association (P.W.S.A.) final standings in the round robin/pool play shall be established using the following criteria and will revert back to (1) after each criterion if the tie is broken:
(1) Win/Loss Record
If still tied >>>>> (2) Winner of games between the tied teams. NOTE: In order to use this criteria, all subject tied teams must have played each other and one team must have defeated all the teams they are tied with to be ranked higher.
If still tied >>>>> (3) Difference plus or minus of total runs scored with no limit in all games will be used.
If still tied >>>>> (4) Least runs allowed.
If still tied >>>>> (4) Most runs scored.
Note: In all Provincial Championship tournaments which lead to a Canadians Championship, any tie which means a life or elimination from the tournament will be subject to a play-off game
Top Team in each pool will advance to the Championship Round with 2 lives
2nd in each pool will advance to the Championship with 1 life
Ontario has been awarded 4 berths to this Canadian Championship. Therefore, the top 4 placing teams from this Qualifying tournament will head on to Warman July 30.
