U14, 2021 (Huron Perth Nationals)

Taylor V was dialed in at the plate on Thursday, tallying four hits and leading Nationals U14 to a 17-9 win over Palmerston. Taylor V singled in the second, tripled in the third, singled in the fourth, and tripled in the fifth. Both offenses were strong at the plate as Nationals U14 collected 20 hits and Palmerston seven in the high-scoring affair. Palmerston got things started in the first inning.  #4 grounded out, scoring one run.

Both Wilmot and Nationals U14 had their offenses going on Tuesday, but Nationals U14 eventually succumbed 9-6 in the high-scoring affair. Nationals U14 took an early lead in the first inning when Nationals U14 scored one run on a stolen base. Wilmot took the lead for good with seven runs in the second inning.  In the second Lauren H induced #6 to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, #19 drew a walk, scoring one run, #49 singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run, #53 singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run, and #67 doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Even though Nationals U14 collected nine hits to Palmerston's five, they still fell 9-3 on Monday. The Nationals U14 struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Palmerston, giving up nine runs. Nationals U14 got things started in the first inning when Mallory M singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run. Palmerston pulled away for good with four runs in the fourth inning.  In the fourth #3 drew a walk, scoring one run, Aydin D induced #12 to hit into a fielder's choice, but two runs scored, and #8 grounded out, scoring one run.
